The first One Day Soone stockist profile is of the gorgeous Jenny from Vera Chan, a wonderful giftware store located in King Street in the Melbourne CBD.
Jenny stocks all sorts of unique gifts – from local artist works (including One Day Soone!) to jewellery from Paris. She specialises in personal service and her motto is ‘if we don’t have it, we will find it for you!’
Jenny is a huge fan of One Day Soones’ designs and was thrilled to be asked to feature on our blog. Here is how Jenny is pursuing her ‘One Day Soone’!
What is your ‘One Day Soone’ dream?
I would love for “Vera Chan” to be found and loved by more people, I want to spread the word that this is a little treasure trove for those special pieces that are different from what the bigger stores do. I want this shop to become something more personal for more people.
What steps have you and are you taking to achieve your ‘One Day Soone’ dream?
At the store I offer a personal shopping and tailor-made service to my customers, I can put them in touch with the right people who will create specific designs for their need. Whether its a piece of jewellery or clothing, even personalised stationary, the shop can offer services to find the impossible.
What new trends can customers expect to see at Vera Chan over the next few months?
In the coming months there will be a range of one-off jewellery pieces made from natural semi-precious gem stones coming in from the US, there is high expectations of the racing season head-wear which will hit the store in early September. All the designs are original one-off and this year we even have a Melbourne milliner on board who will create designs for those looking for the artisan styles.
What is your favourite One Day Soone design?
My favourite piece always changes depending on my mood, but at the moment I am in love with the ‘Cirrus’ necklace and the ‘Cumulus’ earrings. The look like something from the elves who would live in a wonderfully enchanted world! The design is so simple yet there’s something magical about it too.
